For over 30 years, trauma has been a consistent thread woven throughout the experiences of those I have served in the course of my social work practice. I have been privileged to support a variety of people across a diverse range of ages and needs in both community and institutional settings.
Through my personal and professional experiences, I believe that adversity can become an invitation for growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding. I believe that each person carries inherent strengths, wisdom, and resources, even when life circumstances may make those qualities difficult to access.
Because so many of our struggles are relational in nature, I am deeply committed to the transformative power of a safe and supportive relationship. A collaborative, compassionate, and respectful relationship fosters hope and creates the conditions required for individuals to move toward wholeness.
