I understand consulting a psychotherapist requires a lot of courage. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, major life changes or relationship issues that you are not comfortable in sharing with others, I provide a nonjudgmental, safe, respectable and validating space for you as you embark the journey of self-discovery. Silver Lining is a humble initiative for all those going through tough times in life and seeking help. I work with adults only. I use an eclectic approach including CBT, DBT and solution focused therapy.
I did certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy from 'Centre for MindBody Health', Toronto. I completed postgraduate diploma in Clinical Counseling and Psychotherapy. I did master’s in applied psychology from Pakistan in 2007. Also trained in John Gottman method for couples. I am registered member of College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
