This is an area I also understand personally, which shapes how I approach this work.
I am a registered psychotherapist and together we work to identify patterns that feel automatic so you are in better control of your thoughts, actions, behaviour, interpersonal patterns and therefore the overall life journey. I use evidence based psychological tools such as cognitive processing therapy, EMDR and somatic experiencing to help you do so.
Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning, yet internally overwhelmed, tense, or exhausted. These challenges often show up not only emotionally, but physically—in the body, energy levels, ability to focus, their relationships.
I often work with individuals whose progress has plateaued despite appropriate medical or physiotherapy care.
