When Love Hurts Support Group (women only)
The objective of this group is for the participants to understand the different types and cycles of abuse and its impact on one's well-being. Group participants will gain insight, strength, and validation through their work in the group. At initial registration, an appointment would be scheduled for a meet and greet before joining the group. This gives the client a chance to ask questions and meet facilitators. Duration: 12 weeks sessions and each group is about 2 hours. Participants: 6-12 participants. Format: Open for the 1st and 2nd week only if the group is small and then closed afterward.
