I welcome individuals, couples and families who identify as heterosexual or LGBTQ+. In session, we focus on emotions and how to create safety, trust and confidence in your interactions with family members, significant others, colleagues and friends. I welcome clients from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. I can offer therapy in Farsi, Italian, German and English. I also have a working knowledge of French.
My approach is grounded mainly in Emotionally-Focused Therapy which is non-judgemental and collaborative. You are the expert of your life and I am your therapist, our combination of strengths is the key to our work together. I also work with other solution based models and tailor an approach that meets your needs.
My specialty and area of focus with most of my clients is deep trauma inflicted by family of origin, society and relationships and the attachment injuries caused as a result thereof.
