Hello, I'm Shirley Hung-Truchot, a Couples Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of relationship challenges. I believe that as humans we are wired for connection. As someone in an intercultural marriage and a mother of two, I am passionate about supporting busy couples to improve communication, manage conflicts, deepen emotional connection, and reclaim intimacy.
I help couples break negative patterns, validate emotions, and learn actionable relationship tools to build a healthy, fulfilling relationship where they feel seen and valued. Whether you are experiencing fertility challenges, navigating parenthood, or healing from an affair/ infidelity, I am here to support you with care.
My style is warm, curious, and collaborative. I hold a Master's degree from the University of Toronto and Certified in Emotionally focused therapy (EFT).
