Life is filled with meaning and purpose, yet it often presents challenges and distractions that divert us. As a dedicated intern psychotherapist, my passion lies in helping individuals overcome personal obstacles to uncover inspiration and meaning, heal wounded emotions, and cultivate self-confidence, self-worth, and resilience. The foundation of my work is trust; built so people feel accepted, safe, and heard. By integrating my life's learning and experience, I aim to help people recover their strengths and empower them to live a life with positive intentions.
My areas of focus include- trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationships. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Emotion-focused (EFT) and strength-based (SFT) therapies. I am influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), parts work, and inner child healing. I am currently enrolled in EMDR specializing in trauma care.
With a lifelong commitment to learning, I bring a wealth of experience gained from education and the arts. My educational background includes a BMus in vocal music, a BEd in secondary education, and an MA focused on narrative writing for personal development. I am currently completing the requirements for an MA in Counselling Psychology
