Trained as a complex trauma therapist in NYC for over three decades, I am now a trauma-informed wellness coach in Montreal with licensure in NYS, Ontario and membership with the Canadian Counseling & Psychotherapy Association. I offer traditional, spiritual and holistic methods and resources that assist with healing from trauma, narcissistic abuse and addictions. If you are seeking regulation, cohesion and reclamation of the parts of the self that were abandoned for the sake of survival, we can work together to attain those goals so that a life of thriving can ensue.
Creativity and psychospiritual exploration relies on the wisdom of the subconscious, to reveal powerful solutions. This mindset inspired me to create a therapeutic theater event for at-risk women in NYC and to share about my journey of recovery through an animated film short, telecasts, and writings about recovery. Likewise, it informs the therapy process.
The quality of the therapeutic alliance is the most robust predictor of treatment outcomes. With a corrective therapeutic relationship characterized by deep humanity and compassion difficult challenges can be traversed and growth and creativity can be encouraged. Cultivating an authentic reparative therapeutic bond is a crucial step in our working together.
