Hi everyone! I am a master's level counselling psychology practicum student that is qualified to practice at JK Senchuk Counselling under the clinical supervision of Julia Senchuk. There are moments in our lives where we may each lose sight of our sense of purpose. Life transitions, relational turmoil, and social pressures may blur our perspective. I believe wholeheartedly growth is largely attributed to living authentically - staying true to our values, identity, and aspirations. Together, we can discover your own voice and pathway for healing.
My trauma-informed, eclectic approach draws on techniques associated with person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and solution-focused therapy. We may also explore how family influences our perspectives through the use of genograms.
As a military spouse, I understand the motions of change. In our most vulnerable moments, moving forward may feel impossible. Resilience, courage, and grace allow for transformative growth to take place. I invite individuals to a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space. I look forward to collaboratively empowering individuals in their healing journey.
