Doctoral-level Registered Psychologist. I believe it takes a lot of courage to seek out help and support, and I deeply respect willingness to engage in the process of therapy. I use a collaborative approach and I work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, stress, chronic pain, insomnia. I have extensive training and experience treating PTSD in Trauma Exposed Professionals: RCMP, Veterans, firefighters, paramedics, EMS, corrections, health-care providers.
Approaches include: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET), Cognitive Behavioural Conjoint Therapy for PTSD (CBCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia, Client-Centred (Humanistic), Existential Therapy, Hope Focused Therapy.
