My name is Sheena Strickland, a social worker and clinical counsellor, offering in-person, virtual, and phone counselling for individuals. With over 16 years of experience, I support individuals and families through life’s transitions-with a trauma informed, relational approach.
Throughout my career, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and barriers that individuals may encounter in their daily lives. My approach is grounded in building strong, therapeutic relationships, with a firm belief that clients are the foremost experts in their own experiences.
I am dedicated to ensuring that the unique needs of children, youth, adults, and families are addressed, with a particular emphasis on individualized treatment planning. In addition, I have a strong connection to equine-assisted programming, focusing on the unique therapeutic relationships that can develop between individuals and horses
