Online DBT Skills Training for ages 16+

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a well researched, evidence-based treatment originally designed for Borderline Personality Disorder. This therapy blends Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), focusing on our thoughts and actions, and Zen Buddhism which focuses on becoming a mindful observer of one’s experiences. This program can be an excellent addition to your current therapy or as done as a self-help program. It's a 24 week long program focused on teaching these 4 modules: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness & Distress Tolerance Online Classes run in repeated cycles, so you can start at different times of the year.

Positive Self Image - Teens (Virtual)

The Positive Self Image Program is a 6 week-long program for teen girls ages (10 -16 years old). In the program, the girls will meet 2x weekly for 1 hour (Mondays and Thursdays). We will be addressing different topics such as shame, gifts of imperfection, loving ourselves and owning our story. Our goal is for the girls to support each other and see another perspective of one's self from a positive and compassionate lens. "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do." Contact us at contact@theinsightclinic.ca for more information.
