Hello! I'm Sharaya. I focus on supporting individuals, couples, and families. I see therapy as a deeply personal experience, unfolding uniquely for every person. It is a dynamic, living process where insights and change may come quickly or overtime. It’s a way to embrace the complexites of being human, including addressing grey areas, yearnings, blindspots, inner tension, and what it looks like to hold contrary emotions, like joy and sorrow, together. My style is gentle and collaborative, valuing you as the expert of your own story and honouring your courage along the way.
As a Junior Associate, I approach therapy with a trauma-informed perspective and draw upon Emotion-Focused Therapy and Somatic Therapy. I have completed the clinical part of my training for my Master's in Couples and Family Therapy at Trinity Western University and am awaiting my registration.
