About
As human beings, we all have complex emotions and having the courage to express, process and understand them creates great relief and ultimately new found strength. The journey into our past and present emotional content is not one we should have to take alone. I will work with you to truly understand your emotional landscape, look beyond your symptoms and honour the unique elements of your life. During our therapeutic work together, we will clear through the challenges that are holding you back from achieving your full potential.
I am a clinical social worker who holds a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto with a specialization in mental health. I have extensive experience working with a multitude of mental health issues in hospital, private healthcare and community services settings.
Combining emotionally focused, cognitive behavioural, mindfulness, trauma reduction, and somatic relational psychotherapy my goal is to go deeper with clients to address root causes. My treatment approach aims to facilitate the formation of healthy coping strategies, communication tools and self care practices that will enhance life satisfaction and relationships.
