About
Everyone is unique and encounters different life experiences. Some of these experiences change the ways we think, feel, and act. Children and youth might begin to say negative things about themselves, start to struggle with school performance and peer relationships, react easily and in ways that seem bigger than the situation, and experience physical changes like headaches or stomach aches. Another component of these changes involves looking at how adults are processing their responses to them. It is important for adults to know that supporting a child or youth, in addition to themselves, is not something they have to face alone.
I aim to create a safe and supportive environment to foster open communication. This helps family members understand each other as they experience changes. I help others focus on their strengths to overcome needs, I help individuals understand that their struggles do not define them, and help enhance the attachment between family members.
Reaching out for help can be tough for anyone, but especially for parents or guardians who are responsible for younger ones. It is important to remember that there are many resources to help you and your family. I would love to be part of your support team and offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you and your loved ones to engage in meaningful change.
