I am a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychologist that enjoys working with individual adults and teens. I specialize in treating trauma, depression and anxiety (including pre- and post-natal), and stress. I have a special interest in working with medical professionals and public safety personnel as well as individuals who have been harmed by religion. All of my experience has led me to believe that we are all capable of healing, but that in order to move in that direction, we need a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to be able to explore current and past difficulties and how our minds and bodies respond.
My approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I integrate strategies from many modalities such as EMDR, SFT, IFS, somatic therapies, motivational interviewing, and systems theories to help clients clarify issues and move towards positive change. I pride myself on working to develop a strong therapeutic relationship.
