Therapy can help people better understand themselves and find greater meaning in their lives. People enter therapy for a wide range of reasons, often involving difficulty solving a problem in their lives on their own. Some people, for example, are having difficulty in a romantic relationship and wonder how to improve the relationship, or end it. Other people experience conflict or anxiety in a wide range of interpersonal relationships and enter therapy as a means of improving their communication skills and the quality of their relationships. I help people in both monogamous and polyamorous relationships.
In addition to relational issues, I help people cope with depression, anxiety, stress, burn-out, losses, illnesses, and self-esteem. I have a special interest in women's reproductive health, which includes high-risk pregnancies, infertility, and post-partum depression. I also specialize in issues specific to the LGBT and polyamory communities.
In addition to providing individual therapy, I started a group practice with the goal of creating an environment for practitioners to collaborate, grow, and support each other in helping people live more fulfilling and satisfying lives.
