I'm a clinical psychologist specialized in working with teens and young adults struggling with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, emotion regulation, self-harm, self-esteem, trauma, (etc). Seeking help takes courage. Finding the right therapist is a first step toward working on improving your wellbeing. Therapy provides a safe space in which to better understand yourself and your experiences, learn to deal with emotions, thoughts, behaviours or relationships in healthier ways, and develop personalized tools to better cope with any challenges.
My therapeutic approach is adapted to the needs and goals identified by who I am working with. I draw on dialectical-behavioural (DBT) and cognitive-behavioural (CBT), acceptance-based (ACT), as well as emotion-focused therapy approaches, to provide each client with a personalized psychotherapy experience.
