I am a Registered Psychotherapist with 25 years experience. My professional journey within the mental health field began in 1990. I launched her career as a counsellor for Women shelter. Clients dealing with domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and depression. Managed two homeless shelters for 7 years and newcomer's community settlement centre for 2 years. Over the last 9 years I worked for Family Service of Peel as a therapist primarily focusing on helping individuals overcome day-to-day stress, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem issues and relationship difficulties.
My approach is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and based on a compassionate Cognitive Behavioral approach. I have had opportunity to work with individuals facing mental health issues, couples dealing with relationship issues and seniors for grief and abandonment issues. I provide holistic approach to find solutions and peace of mind
