In a nutshell, what I am all about is connecting to my clients with acceptance and compassion to allow a safe space for them to connect back to themselves. I believe many messages and experiences can leave people very disconnected which can manifest as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addictions, difficult or toxic relationships, loneliness and general unhappiness.

Clients who tend to do well with me; Understand I don’t have all the answers and that therapy is a collaborative process where we discover answers together, they are willing to do some work in between sessions to find out what works and what needs adjusting, and understand that healing can be a messy process and are open to some non traditional approaches.
You will find that I am very interactive in the counselling session so it’s not all just “how does that make you feel?” and I incorporate humour when appropriate. My approach is grounded in evidence based practices along with mindfulness practices. I believe in listening to your story and getting curious about what is going to best enable you to feel better.
