Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program – is an 8 week, 2.5 hour group offered weekly plus a 4 hour weekend retreat. This psycho-educational program offers opportunities to learn and develop mindfulness practices that include but are not exclusive to mindful eating, breath, movement, walking practices and body scans as well as moments to practice in small breakout groups and within the context of the larger group. MBSR will integrate elements of stress like the stress reactivity triangle, home practices like the pleasant and unpleasant events calendar and reflective practices like personal journaling and mindfulness practices into the tasks of daily living.
