Sedâ Psychotherapy consists of a team of therapists who are available to support you in navigating your individual and relationship challenges. In addition to our full-fee services, our student therapists offer lower-cost and pro bono therapy options. Our therapists provide virtual services to youth (aged 6+), adults, couples, and families in Ontario. Common concerns that we help clients with are anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, children's mental health, 2SLGBTQ+ experiences, identity exploration, perfectionism, sex and sexuality, life transitions, OCD, ADHD, disordered eating, and substance use concerns.
Our therapists are anti-oppressive, collaborative, client-centred, and trauma-informed. We use approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Gottman Method, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and Dance/Movement Therapy.

Groups
Virtual Parenting Therapy Group
Our group sessions invite parents of children aged 3-7 to enhance their child’s emotional development and build parental confidence, especially in the hard moments. This is a 10-week group starting on February 23, held on Sunday mornings with Registered Psychotherapist, Preeti Rane. In a supportive environment with a small group of fellow parents, we’ll explore the foundations of secure attachment; effective communication strategies to connect with your child in ways they can understand and respond to more positively; and co-regulation skills that guide your child through big emotions by modelling calm and supportive responses.
