Welcome to Seashore Counselling Services. Reaching out for help is a courageous step and an indication of your desire to heal and transform your life. I work in person or virtually with adults, individuals and couples and my main areas of practice are: loss and grief; couples counselling; anger/stress management; anxiety/depression; shame, self-esteem/worth; people recovering from addictions and abuse issues. My office is located in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island. Talking with a Psychologist can provide a safe place to see your life with new eyes. I look forward to working with you.
I have found that people are often facing loss in areas such as bereavement, relationships, health, and career. Learning how to grieve and integrate loss into life is an important part of the work I do. Another focus is on increasing self awareness around emotions, thoughts, behaviors and communication.
I find working with individuals and couples to be meaningful and hopeful. My approach is collaborative, respectful and compassionate . I have23+ years of experience and have trained extensively in the area of grief and loss and shame. Together my education, and professional and personal life experience gives me perspective and insight to help others.
