About
NO Waitlist, and accepting NEW clients. I work with those from all walks of life. I bring a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach with a person-centred philosophy. While I use a variety of approaches, I have additional experience using CBT. I also have additional training in EFT for couples counselling. I work with people struggling with coping skills, men's issues, issues in their relationships, pre-marital and engagement, teen issues, workplace issues, anxiety/depression, anger, high-stress, and/or separation/divorce issues. These are some areas I currently work with and help people to reach their desired goals.
I bring more than 6 years of experience working in the criminal justice field with extreme trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety among other things. Being strengths-based, I provide a safe space characterized by therapist authenticity and I pull from different approaches that focus on validation and acceptance of those allowing me to journey with them.
I have heard so many people say "I am lost", "I don't feel like I am here... I can't see a way to feel better", and "I got myself into this mess, I can get myself out!". You don't need to do it alone. There are ways to deal with our issues, even the most difficult situations, and to come out on top! I am here to join you as an ally if you will have me.
