I've worked in a range of community settings including inner city and some rural communities, Child Welfare, addictions treatment and with school boards. I've worked in a number of programs from family support, housing, mental health and addictions, providing crisis and supportive counselling, short and long-term support for adolescents, youth and adults, couples, First Nations, rural and ethno-cultural communities. I have also taught social work at the post secondary level and am up-to-date on current practice & theoretical perspectives.
I seek to gain an in-depth understanding of people's issues, helping you to identify patterns and themes in your life that interfere with your well-being. I am a generalist social worker with 35 years experience and draw upon my training and life experience to help people realize a way through their struggles.
