"I have had the privilege of experiencing being a client long before I became a therapist. This experience has provided me with the keen understanding of how much strength and courage it takes to reach out and ask for help. Therapy can seem awkward and uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be! That’s where I come in! My priority is to create a safe environment where you can express your struggles and fears without worrying about judgement. "

I concentrate on "wholistic" healing and empowerment rather than on being clinical and "helping". Basically, I form what I call a "Healing Partnership" with the people who come for my services. School Issues (Academic Underachievement, Academic Counselling) Counsellors
Students underachieve in school for a variety of reasons. Motivational problems, ADHD, and learning disabilities can all be a challenge to any parent. Child therapists, child psychologists, or school psychologists in K4P can help to assess a child's needs and offer much needed help.

Academic counsellors in K4P help with learning issues, child education issues or ADD (attention deficit). They can work with academic underachievers who are quite bright, gifted and intelligent, as well as with children with developmental disabilities (i.e. disabilities students). Additionally, K4P Counsellors work with nonverbal learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and reading difficulties.

Children with problems at school, or who are failing at school in K4P all have specific and unique instructional needs. A good K4P academic counsellor or school counsellor will provide the individualized attention and support a student needs to succeed.

How can I tell if a therapist is right for me?
Therapists in Ottawa K4P are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, if you're seeking a marriage counsellor in K4P you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counselling or couples counselling in K4P and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counselling in K4P or family therapy in Ottawa K4P.
