I utilize both long-term and brief interventions approach to meet clients’ unique needs. I perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs. I work from a strength based, trauma informed framework, evidence-based practices and committed to an anti-oppressive approach.
I offer counselling to those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, childhood trauma, self-esteem and self-image issues. I provide couples counselling, grief and loss, racial trauma and parental couching. I am also a Christian Therapist /Faith-based Counsellor, where upon request, I use both clinical and spiritual / biblical concepts.
I offer a nurturing, compassionate and confidential setting, where clients can identify their emotional challenges, gain capacity to heal and grow from these challenges, trauma and loss. Clients receive unbiased feedback that enables them to see things from a different perspective. Clients also develop good coping mechanisms to help alleviate the challenges
