I help neurodivergent (ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Gifted, Trauma, Executive Function, etc.), anxious, traumatized, and/or burntout folks (ages 10 - adult) quickly and proactively resolve and leave behind the past, envision the future, create action plans, pick up tools, experiment, and practice new behaviours & ways of thinking by creating a safe therapeutic space to cry, laugh, be heard, and reflect. Thanks to my own ADHD, the lows in life that allow me to be grateful now, and my own therapist (and in spite of my own profound skepticism for mental health professionals), I discovered empowerment, courage, and joy in life are possible, to the point that I completed a Master's of Counselling degree. So, I now pay it forward as a counsellor.
I immigrated at age 9 - my upbringing clouded in fear, loss & disappointment. As an adult I was mostly anxious & miserable with high conflict relationships, a dead end job, single with two kids, and no prospects. All I had was me. But having put one foot in front of the other, I now find much enjoyment in life and would be honoured to support your journey.
