You don’t have to be in crisis to know that something isn’t quite right. Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or quietly carrying more than you let on. Many people come to therapy after trying to manage on their own for a long time. I support adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship concerns across British Columbia.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) based in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, offering in-person, online and phone counselling. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over twenty years working with young people and families in the school system as a teacher, which continues to shape my work with patience and care.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based, somatically informed, parts-based, and narrative approaches.
