I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in their lives in different ways and are looking for a fresh perspective and alignment with current goals. My clients arrive at counselling with challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship, addiction, life transitions, stress, and grief and loss. So often in facing life's challenges we feel alone and helpless. You are not alone - change is possible. I am dedicated to bringing my full presence, knowledge, and experience to our relationship to support you in fostering the changes you seek in your inner and outer worlds.
My approach is a body-focused talk therapy. I work holistically from a strengths-based perspective, integrating mindfulness, somatics, and attachment theory to meet goals that we decide collaboratively. I am trauma-informed and my background in community development, yoga, and education shapes my counselling practice.
I believe in the potential for counselling to change lives creating new possibilities for peace, purpose, and vitality. You are invited to join me in constructing the safety and challenge necessary for change. I provide counselling online and in-person at Sound Mind Counselling Centre.
