About
Hello, I'm Sarah, a registered art therapist - welcome! Art therapy is a versatile and connective approach that allows clients to gain mastery over their issues through expression and creation. Art therapy can meet the needs of those in search of more than a typical therapy session. It is uniquely suited to engage with inner creativity as well as make room for the things words can not always express. Traditional counselling techniques and approaches are incorporated with the art making process to create a well-rounded healing approach.
Art therapy is a combination of the healing of therapy and the expressiveness of the arts. Art is a powerful emotive and expressive tool, and when done with a qualified art therapist, the potential for healing can be quite significant.
I would be honoured to walk with you amidst whatever it is you're going through and help you make art part of your journey to wholeness. I truly believe in the restorative and enriching power of art as a tool in therapy. Art therapy is for anyone at any stage in life.
