We all tell ourselves stories about who we are and how we fit into the world. Sometimes, these ways we have of talking to ourselves can become problematic and affect our internal wellbeing, anxiety, relationships, and emotional health. I have a special interest in working with you to explore your internal narratives and identities to help you find ways to create a more positive and cohesive sense of self. I have experience working through these issues within the context of trauma including childhood, sexual, religious, and physical traumas. I also enjoy working with younger folks and identity formation.
Drawing on a few therapeutic theories and my multi-cultural perspective I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. My primary goal is to support you by understanding who you are and what you need to align with your core values and goals. I am LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and welcome people into my space from all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
My aim is to create an environment that feels safe and inspires growth. It can be scary and overwhelming to make the leap into therapy, so feel free to book a 15 minute telephone consultation to get to know me a little better as well as ask any questions you have. You can also use the link above to check-out my website for more information.
