About
Sometimes life can feel like a rollercoaster of emotions that are overwhelming and lead us to cope in ways that create difficulties. I have always been passionate about helping people navigate these difficulties to help them live a life that's worth living. I have over seven years of experience providing individual and group therapy to individuals with mild to severe mental health issues. I specialize in treating individuals who experience difficulties related to borderline personality disorder, PTSD/trauma, depression, anxiety, and addictions.
I am a registered psychologist trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I currently work as part of the Modern Solutions Counselling Services Team, providing individual counselling services in the evenings.
I believe that it is so important to feel a sense of connection with your therapist and to build a therapeutic environment where you can show up as you are. I aim to bring a sense of warmth, compassion and light--heartedness as we work together to develop effective strategies to manage emotions, change behaviours, and improve relationships.
