Assessments: I specialize in children's psychoeducational assessments for giftedness (Westmount, GATE), ADHD, learning disabilities, and social/emotional/behavioural concerns. Counselling: Therapeutic play, as well as other modalities to support issues such as low self-esteem, assertiveness, specific skill development, anxiety/depression, coping skills, social skills, ADHD symptomology, ASD, phobias, bullying, trauma, divorce, grief and aggression (2-35yrs). I use an integrative approach, drawing from various modalities depending on the client and presenting issue. Parenting strategies provided. NIHB provider.
I have 12 years of experience in psychoeducational assessment and 22 years of working with children in various capacities. I am also a therapeutic play practitioner and a trauma specialist. Furthermore, I support adults using a holistic approach who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, ADHD management, relationships and parenting.

Groups
Friendship and Social Skills Training for children
Is your child shy? Withdrawn? Under developed social skills? Are there conflicts with peers? Help your child flourish socially and emotionally. I provide group therapy based on programs such as the 'Social Thinking' program and the 'FRIENDS' program. Sessions are strength-based, drawing from cognitive-behavioural techniques. Sessions will start when interest allows a small group to be formed. Age range 3-12.
