Reaching out for support can be really hard. If you are reading this, you have already taken the first step. My name is Sarah, I am a queer, non-binary social worker and therapist with over 15 years of experience. I identify as neurodivergent and I live and work on Treaty 6 Territory. Many of the clients I work with are looking for support with challenges like: navigating trauma and abuse, managing ADHD, Autism and AuDHD and work, school or relationships, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety and life transitions. I offer a 2SLGBTQ+ safe practice, am sex positive, and knowledgeable on non-traditional relationship styles.
My therapy approach is integrative, person centred and research informed. My practice is informed by the principals of anti-oppressive practice and polyvagal theory. I often incorporate psychoeducation, somatic practices, mindfulness practices cognitive and behavioural, and compassion focused therapy into my practice.
