I am an experienced clinician who see's a range of child/youth and adult cases. Prior to completing my Master's degree I worked in the hospital system as a child life specialist and have a special perspective in helping clients who themselves or their family members, have experienced health and hospitalization issues related to medical or mental health issues.
I work individually with clients, but also find it important to make sure that family members, especially parents are included in the therapy process, when working with children and adolescents.
I am very skilled and interested in working with clients with anxiety, OCD, trauma and ongoing life stress. I also have extensive training and experience in working with children and teens who are neuro divergent and welcome clients to be themselves in the sessions and speak freely about what you find helpful in their therapy process.
In working with me you can expect an empathetic and validating environment which also challenges you to reflect and grow while learning to manage and work through various presenting issues. I have a strong interest in building advocacy skills with clients, as well as advocating for clients if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you!
