About
Welcome to Sarah Earl Psychotherapy. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and have been practicing in the field for more than 17 years. My primary focus during this time has been in helping clients to navigate the long term impact of trauma or adverse life experiences. I work primarily with individuals and couples over the age of 18. My belief is that when we are ready, we can work towards a different way of being in our lives. My approach is goal-oriented and client-led.
My training is in trauma-informed therapy and has focused on the impact of adverse life experiences, including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, mood regulation, grief and loss, complex family dynamics, anger and impulse management. I offer individual and couples counselling.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can be intimidating and I offer an initial 20 minute phone session free of charge, to allow you the chance to ask questions and ensure that I am the right fit for your needs. My work is focused around starting where you as the client are comfortable and building from there.
