I enjoy helping clients who are working towards (re)discovering their authentic selves. Often this means working with clients who have/are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, body image struggles, substance misuse, and/or ADHD. I have experience working with youth and adults of all different identities.
I work predominantly from a person-centered lens, which looks like a collaborative relationship with empathy, my own authenticity, and no judgement. I do also use other modalities such as CBT, Narrative, IFS, and Somatic techniques. Additionally I bring an anti-oppressive, multicultural, and trauma informed lens to my work.

Sarah & Foxie Therapy
Sarah & Foxie Therapy is a trauma-informed, strength-based, and intersectional feminist practice, with a primary focus on bringing awareness to clients’ resiliency and resourcefulness. Working from a person-centred perspective, Sarah approaches each therapeutic relationship from a collaborative standpoint, including respecting that all clients have their own unique pace. Sarah integrates counselling modalities, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, Eco-Therapy, and Mindfulness. She has significant experience working with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Substance Use, Neurodiversity, Eating Disorders, Self-harm, and Suicidal Ideation, and believes that nothing should be taboo in counselling!
