I work with couples, adults and youth clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, ADHD, PTSD and OCD in addition to parenting and relationship struggles. I have undergone training and specialize in working with survivors of narcissistic abuse which can include healing during high conflict divorce, support for single parents and supporting children of narcissistic parents. As an ex first responder, supporting first responders and their families is a passion of mine and I have undergone occupational awareness certification to further support in this area which can also include suicide bereavement.
I have a broad educational background that includes social work, child and youth care, and sociology in addition to psychology which allows me to utilize integrative support when needed. I believe in healing the whole body and am guided by CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS parts work and somatic healing. I am certified in occupational awareness for first responders.
I believe in a trauma informed approach and in having a safe environment with a safe person for clients to start figuring out how to feel more in control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviour. I feel that it is in relationship that healing takes place.
