Therapy should be thought of no different than going to the doctor or dentist. If you think about it, your mind is the motor that drives your thoughts, perceptions, emotions, and behaviours - easily argued the MOST important asset of your health! I'd love to help you find "home" in yourself, inviting you to explore the you that's wanting to show up in all the ways you hope to. Counselling can be a deeply humbling and transformational experience. With more than a decade in the field, I'm prepared with the right knowledge and tools to assist on your therapeutic journey.
Using a generalist-eclectic approach, I draw on (and am certified in) evidence-based practice approaches founded on the importance of mindfulness. My counselling style is rooted in providing a safe and open space to express and regulate emotions and shift unhelpful thinking patterns for improved life coping and outcomes.
I believe that you can move past the conditions that cause you such things like distress, hardship, work and relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and stress. You deserve care and capability around life's complex challenges - I'm happy to help you fulfill that.
