I believe that people who come to consult with me are wanting safety and connection. A sense of safety in their bodies, connection to self, to people they love, to community, or to the larger world. These people may be facing problems that have been called things like anxiety, depression, trauma, disorders, grief, communication or relationship difficulties - names that may or may not feel right to you. Underneath it all, we are looking for the way back to ourselves and each other, to feel safe enough to connect and explore the fullness of life. I want to help you find that way.
I am a white, queer/bisexual therapist working in Treaty 1. I offer a space where you don't need to explain your identities. I work integratively and collaboratively with you to decide our path. I bring a social justice lens, meaning I see individual pain as connected to the larger systems we live in like family, culture, spirituality, and politics.
Reaching out is a brave, difficult, and potentially liberatory step, whether you are doing this for yourself, your relationship(s), or your community! I look forward to standing with you in the strengths that have brought you this far, and finding ways to move through the change, struggles, or pain you currently face.
