About
I want to help you tap into your innate capacity to heal - help you become open to experience, learn to trust yourself, develop an internal evaluation of yourself and have a willingness to continue growing. In private practice, I provide individual, family, marital/relationship, and group counselling. I treat people across the lifespan including children, adolescents (e.g. navigating identity), adults (e.g. working through relationships, parenting, and career issues), and the elderly (grief and life transitions).
I strive to bring a holistic, sensitive, relationship-based and collaborative approach to therapy. I bring extensive experience in many treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic-Existential and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. My warm and thoughtful approach allows you to feel heard, supported, and gently challenged.
I have 20 years of experience in mental health and wellness. I have helped a diverse range of clients achieve their goals, choose alternative behaviours, and regain their sense of well-being. Together we can build your strengths and develop skills that empower you. I offer flexible daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
