About
Hello & welcome! I specialize in working with people with a variety of difficulties including depression & anxiety, stress, cancer care, caregiving and end of life issues including grief & loss. You may be seeking support for a new diagnosis - physical or emotional. You may be dealing with life stressors/transitions or you may be a caregiver seeking support to care for your loved one while maintaining your own wellness. Our work together will be to create a life that is worth living and is in alignment with your values. We will aim to strengthen and build upon your existing resources in ways that feel good and authentic to you.
I am an experienced social worker/therapist and have been practicing for over 12 years. I will use a variety of approaches including DBT, CBT, CFT, mindfulness and EMDR to meet your unique goals. While I employ a number of different approaches, great care and attention will be devoted to building our trusting relationship and understanding who you are.
We all experience pain in our lives and my aim in our work together will be to reduce your suffering by seeking to understand the things that are in our power to control. Please reach out for a complimentary 15 minute call or video chat where you can have a chance to meet me to determine if you'd like to work together. I look forward to meeting you!
