About

Hello, my name is Sara! I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in grief and bereavement therapy for those who have lost a family member, friend, or pet. I also support folks impacted by other major life events, such as a medical event or diagnosis; the medical event or diagnosis of a loved one; a divorce, separation, or end of a relationship; and more. I work from a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens, and utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT and RO-DBT), Self-Compassion, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am passionate about ensuring people are empowered and supported to achieve their vision of a rewarding and fulfilling life, no matter the circumstances. I am currently accepting new clients, offering both in-person and virtual services, and have time slots in the daytime, evenings, and weekends.
