Do you struggle with words? Together, we can help you find the words you need to understand both your past and present, whether you are navigating depression, anxiety, grief, or trauma, coping with change, having difficulties with relationships, or struggling to communicate. I am an LGBTQ+ ally, and I welcome members of all faiths/spiritual beliefs, and neurodivergent people. Also, while I no longer provide couples/poly group counselling, I am happy to support individuals who are in non-traditional relationships. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgement-free, collaborative environment that focusses on your needs and goals.
My practice draws on elements of CBT, ACT, DBT, narrative therapy, emotion-focussed therapy, and solution focussed brief therapy. It is also informed by more than 15 years’ experience as a college instructor, where I taught verbal, non-verbal, and written communication, conflict de-escalation, and public speaking/presentation skills.
