I use humor, compassion and a body-centered approach to support lasting life style changes and personal growth that reflect your strengths and highest values. I believe that life's difficulties are workable and from this premise it is my intention to assist you in gentle and friendly ways to tap into your resources. From this more resourced place, I will support you to work with your difficulties. People seek my services for help with stress, depression, anxiety, pain, trauma, grief and loss. I offer both in person and telephone counselling. My approach integrates a unique blend of Mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with acceptance and when integrated into the therapeutic setting it can support you to develop compassion and insight. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is body centered approach to emotional healing and trauma resolution developed by Dr. Peter Levine.

I participated in professional training programs under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, with the Hendricks' Institute and with The Foundation for Human Enrichment. I integrate the works of Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks and Peter Levine. I also hold certificates in "Mindfulness and Psychotherapy" and "Death, Dying, and Bereavement Education" and Somatic Experiencing.
