I have over 25 years experience providing therapy with, children, adolescents, adults and families. I am very passionate about my work and feel blessed to have walked alongside my clients over the years and share in their journey of growth and healing. My life experiences and role as a parent have also helped me become the clinician I am today.
I have extensive training in areas such as anxiety, ADHD,depression, attachment issues, foster care, adoption, trauma, including treatment of child sexual abuse, sexualized behaviours, bullying issues, grief and loss, separation, divorce issues, and LGBTQ2s+. I work from a trauma informed, attachment perspective and use CBT, ACT, Brainspotting, DDP, EFFT
I use a client centred, strength-based, evidence based approach and focus on each client’s strengths and resources. I work collaboratively and respectfully with clients to help them obtain their goals in therapy.
