"I would be honoured to walk beside you for a portion of your journey. Many of us have had earlier experiences that impact our ability to work, love, play, or achieve our full potential. By exploring the connections between body, mind and emotions, you can overcome barriers and move forward. You are courageous in taking this first step ... whether you are seeking a psychological assessment for school or work-related challenges, trauma treatment, couples counselling, struggling with mood or anxiety-related concerns, or dealing with LGBTQ-specific questions."

"I foster a safe refuge where you can begin to unpack your lived experiences free from judgment. While honouring your story, I offer support in exploring what is working and what is deterring you from where you would like to be. In doing so, pathways can be created to explore healthier ways to cope, live a more meaningful and authentic life, gain greater insight, and communicate your needs and boundaries with others. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed/focused, anti-oppressive, strengths-based and draws from intersectional feminist theory. I integrate mindfulness, CBT, narrative therapy, neuroscience, and mind/body approaches."

"I help people reduce conflict, restore integrity, find ease, confidence and joy in their lives, even when it seems impossible. Through this work, you can harness your own innate ability to face and transform the challenges of living, loving, working and parenting. Together we create a compassionate and courageous space where you are heard and understood within the wider context of your family and environment. Using the neuroscience of emotion, this work addresses problems at the root, rather than focusing on behaviours or symptoms."

"Each of us is on our own unique life path where the process of understanding who we are and the world around us is shaped by biology, family, community, culture, spirituality, natural environment, society and the wider collective field. Our journey can bring us awareness and joy but it can also challenge and wound us deeply, often constraining our capacity to cope with daily expectations, and contribute to larger complexities around identity, belonging, place, existence, change, and values. Through the co-creation of a caring, compassionate and accepting therapeutic relationship, we will work together in guiding your journey to: "

"For more than 35 years I have been privileged to work with individuals: children, adolescents, adults, with couples and families in different configurations, and with groups. I also have been exposed to different schools of thought in psychotherapy and different ways of supporting people. I am not attached to any particular school of thinking or any particular school of helping, although I have a few strong attractions some of which include Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. This profession, like many professions, is about growth, and so I would like to help you grow in your own unique way."

"I work with adults and couples to help them move towards a state of continued growth, compassion, and self-awareness in a way that is collaborative, strengths-based, and empowering. I believe in creating a client-therapist relationship that fosters authenticity, support, and space for both acceptance, and for change. This can begin in our very first session. Together, we can begin to tease apart the adaptive approaches to dealing with and moving through life you've grown accustomed to, and begin to decipher which of these patterns are serving you, and which you may be interested in moving beyond."

"I believe in an empathic, collaborative approach, so that you may always be part of the therapeutic process. Psychotherapy allows for a unique relationship, whereby the focus of attention is on understanding you. It provides an opportunity for openness, trust and honesty, often difficult in other interpersonal situations. It can help you to increase your resilience to life challenges and improve relationships. I use a range of therapy modalities according to the best fit for your needs and personality. Greater meaning in life can be achieved by longer term therapy, but also brief periods of therapy which are cumulative."
