Life is not always easy and it can affect our psychological health and wellbeing. With the use of a client centered approach supported by evidence-based science, we can develop a plan together to help ease some of those struggles. I have extensive experience working with people from all backgrounds, ages and genders. My goal is to help my clients grow from their struggles, heal from their traumas and pain, and learn new coping strategies to move forward.
I work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship or marital issues, work problems, as well as children with a wide range of issues. I also have training in working with clients with a history of trauma, domestic violence, suicidal ideation, and PTSD. Whatever your reason for reaching out, I can work on a plan catered to your needs.
I use an approach that is catered to the client, as I do not believe one size fits all. My therapeutic approach is integrative, utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, art and play therapy. I am also fluent in Urdu/Hindi.
