Individual clients come to see me when there is recognition of loss of control of their moods and behaviors. Difficulty with boundaries, honesty and building secure attachments create a lonely and isolated life. Depression and anxiety can be so overwhelming and we often don't want to feel like a burden to friends or family so we keep it to ourselves. I help my clients find themselves and find hope. I work with couples who are experiencing breakdowns in communication, loss of trust due to infidelity or other secrets and help them navigate the way through the repair process.
I am a certified sex addiction therapist. It is a comprehensive model for individuals, partners and couples coping with sex addiction. For couples work I use Emotionally focused couples therapy. My trauma training is somatic experiencing.
My approach is relational and honest. I have a lot of training and experience in my field and can speak frankly about the most sensitive issues. I know that in the beginning my clients often need guidance through the confusion of early recovery or learning to repair as a couple.
